[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A belief in the Evil Eye is widespread in the Mediterranean and Near East. Charms that resemble eyes are thought to turn away the Evil Eye or deflect the look of anyone with evil intentions. Such charms are, as this one, often made of glass to make them appear lifelike. As a scienist I don't believe in this but I kinda like the colors and it hangs on the kitchen window...just in case I'm wrong..ha!

Never hurts to have all avenues covered..just in case. You have captured this Evil Eye deflecter very nicely and I bet it is very pretty when the sun shines thru it. Kitchen windows are perfect places for these types of hangings. I like you photo and you note. TFS.

Nice shot, nice PS work (who helped you?).
And bilieving or not, scientist or not...traditions is also nice link between people. Thanks for a nice image of my own "evil eye".....haha
....and don't try to search Dana....she's desapeared ! maybe killed ?

Interesting, I never knew there was such a thing, glad you have one to keep the evil onlookers away.
