Hi Murray,
Extremely striking photo, caught my attention straight away. Such a bright colour uniform he is wearing, dare I say maybe a bit too bright. Good focus and DOF, looks well frozen too with your selected shutter speed. Looks like you were on a good angle, well seen.

striking red, such a vivid and clear capture of this artist, his facial expression especially the eyes is really interesting, superb focus and fine DOF.. this is excellent really from all angles and you managed to capture him from a fantastic angle too..

Hi Murray,
Excellent portrait, perfect crop and well captured. The head is pin sharp . The red tones are always difficult to present right, they often fade a bit. Anyway, it's not very disturbing though. You used the correct aperture to have the face sharp and the background blurred, so all the focus is on the man's head. Well done Murray!

This a historical blast from the past Murray. It is indeed fascinating to view the medieval replica crossbow. The genteleman with his red uniform is sharply captured, his neatly trimmed moustache is a handsome feature. Best regards...
