Florence in the morning sunlight. Florence has to be one of the classiest cities in Europe. Here is the view across the city taken from other side of river Arno. The great basilica in the center is of course the Duomo with its famous Dome designed by Brunelleschi. It is said that Michelangelo got his inspiration for the Dome at St. Peter’s from this one. No photographs could do justice to the charm and elegance of this city, but I hope I manage to convey some of it.

This picture brings back good memories. Florence is a wonderful city! Althouh the colours are nicely warm, the picture i'sn't really sharp, that's a pity. Composition is fine but oh boy I wish it was focused well.

Hello Linus. You managed to take me back many years in time with this photo. Even though my last visit to this beautiful city was in 1968(!!) I still remember it as one of the nicest places I ever visited with all the art and beautiful buildings. I like the effect of the early sunlight to give a golden glow on the city and that wonderful Dome. TFs

Sharp enough for me Sunil, I feel anymore and the jpeg artefacts would start to show especially in that hazy sky. Nicely composed with good colour and detail,
