Walking through the narrow streets of Florence, surrounding the Catherral Santa Maria della Fiore (St Marry with the Flower) we suddenly stop by the first glimpse of that hudge medieval masterpiece of architecture. To mention only the brick dome, which weighs 37,000 tons and contains 4 million bricks. The dome was designed by the architect Filippo Brunelleschi and finished in 1420 ...
The wires in the sky hold tiny lamps, which are part of the Christmas decoration... |

Hi Anton,
You found a superb point of view on the Catherral Santa Maria della Fiore! The wide angle works very nicely, here!
Excellent composition from darkness to the light. This is emphasizing the beauty of this great architecture!
Bravo! Annie

hi Anton,
A rather unusual view of the Duamo of Florence. I was here last summer and what a beautiful city!
