Medieval Parade I
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| One of hundreds of people taking part in a parade through the streets of Florence. They were apparently leading groups of football players who played an ancient form of the game where virtually no rules exist. Some years the players are beaten during the game and occasionally die, so it deserves a big celebration. This man certainly looked the part of a high official looking like an very regal figure. |

Hello Murray,
Rather Pompous if you ask me!
An excellent portrait of a pompous parade goer...

Hi Miles,
A pity you don't get many critiques on this portrait. It is a photo with a lot of potential. A small crop of the bottom side to remove the just visible hair of a bystander and a crop of the right hand side to remove the feather. The face is nicely sharp and the blurred background enhances the portrait. The look of the man is priceless. So after e few small rectifications this would be a great picture!
