Not sure if I should have put this in the food category or not.
On our way to Assisi we stopped at an AutoGrill by the motorway. We wondered what the stench was until we saw a truck full of these ill-fated pigs nearby. Being that pigs have a much more developed sense of smell than we do, I can only imagine how bad it was for them. Not to mention what was waiting for them at the end of their journey.
This fellow looked like he might have an idea.
