The plateau il over 1000m sea level and spring time arrive only during last june first july.
The picture had been taken with a 500mm mirror lens

wonderful shot Pepe.. i recognized the unique beauty of la piana di castelluccio imediately from the thumbnail! such an amazing place with those carpets of flowers creating these incredible stripes and patterns... i can't wait to see it myself one day! lovely composition here and the diagonal lines add brilliantly to the striking graphic quality of this wonderful place :-)) bravo Pepe!
