dear Silvio,
a very clear and beautiful shot of Lasiommata maera.
its big pattern of eye-shape circle is well captured.
to my regret, Lasiommata maera is not seen in Japan...we can only see Lasiommata deidamia here.
its Japanese name is "tsumajoro-ura-janome"(tsumajoro=peripheral white, ura=outside, janome=eye of snake).
anyway, beautiful pattern and colors are excellent in this shot.

Wow, Silvio! what a powerful macro capture of the lovely butterfly with such exceptional details!
I like the textures on the wings, shown with great clarity and superb sharpness.
The POV and DOF are very well maintained. The blurry Bg enhances the beauty here and flower adds another piece of charm to the work.
