Breathtaking macro Silvio! I could look at this all day. Deserves to be in a nature magazine! Perfect capture, the details are razor-sharp and the focus very well defined. The black border really finishes things off nicely too. Impressive work.

You really are TL's own Butterfly Man!
This is so sharp with excellent details of the folded wings and the body.
The flower, from which it is feeding, is sharply represented.
The main images show up well against an oof b/g.

Congratulations Silvio. I am impressed with your tech settings of f/20.0, 1/250 seconds as lepidopterans are quite fast. A superb composition, the butterfly is so darn sharp. Best regards.

Ciao Silvio, splendida farfalla. Ottima profondità di campo. Oggi penso di aver trovato il nome del fiore che hai postato in precedenza. Ho sbagliato non è una bocca di leone ma un'orchidea spontanea: Ophrys tyrrhena
Pianta: Fino a 35(40) cm
Foglie: Basali larghe e cauline avvolgenti
Infiorescenza: Lassa, di 3-10(15) fiori da biancastri a porporini
Brattee: Più lunghe dell’ovario, le inferiori più lunghe del fiore
Sepali: Leggermente curvati in avanti, a 120° l’uno dall’altro
Petali: Più scuri dei sepali, con margini ciliati ed ondulati
Labello: Da intero a trilobato, convesso, bruno rossastro con disegno variabile, ma di solito a forma di H, e gibbosità basali assenti o molto piccole; appendice apicale stretta, acuta o dentata
Colonna: Con apice corto, acuto
Sprone: assente
Periodo di fioritura: Marzo e aprile

dear Silvio,
satyrus ferula cannot be seen in Japan, though lots of kinds of ferula live in Japan.
these are rather quiet colors and not eye-catching so much, but your this shot shows its attractive feature very well.
in Japan green or blue Zephyrus is very popular, but ferula is widely living and be collected too.

non ho parole. Io sono una principiante e non so fare commenti tecnici. Vedo solo una foto più bella dell'altra. Mi piacciono soprattutto gli sfondi che crei e che mettono in risalto il soggetto.
Bellissima la farfalla. Le sue ali sembrano plissettate .
