Per i tuoi alunni, Mari, queste son farfalle un po' veloci e la foto non è un granchè, la prossima volta cerchero di far meglio:)
Le Frecce Tricolori sono la pattuglia acrobatica nazionale (PAN) dell'Aeronautica Militare Italiana, nata nel 1961 al seguito della decisione dell'Aeronautica Militare di creare un gruppo permanente per l'addestramento all'acrobazia aerea collettiva dei suoi piloti. Con i 10 aerei, di cui 9 in formazione e 1 solista, sono la pattuglia acrobatica più numerosa del mondo.
Il loro nome per esteso è
313. Gruppo Addestramento Acrobatico;
Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale (PAN) Frecce Tricolori.
Dal 1982 utilizzano gli Aermacchi MB-339PAN. Sono dislocati sull'Aeroporto di Rivolto (UD).
La livrea dei suoi aeroplani è data dalla caratteristica banda tricolore che attraversa la fiancata dell'aereo su sfondo blu. L'addome dell'aeroplano è grigio chiaro mentre i numeri di formazione sono degli adesivi gialli. Ai classici Aermacchi MB-339 in forza all' Aeronautica Militare Italiana sono stati tolti i serbatoi delle ali. Tali serbatoi vengono prontamente riabilitati nei tratti di volo a lungo raggio.
Il fumo colorato viene generato per dispersione, ed è composto da olio di vaselina a cui vengono aggiunti pigmenti non inquinanti. La fuoriuscita di tale composto avviene attraverso un tubicino posto nello scarico posteriore dell' aeroplano.

The Frecce Tricolori (Italian, literally Tricolour Arrows), officially known as the 313° Gruppo Addestramento Acrobatico, is the aerobatic demonstration team of the Italian Air Force, based at Rivolto Air Force Base, in the north-eastern Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, province of Udine. They were formed in 1961 as an Air Force team, replacing unofficial teams that had been sponsored by various commands by the end of the 1920s[1].
The team flies the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN, a two-seat fighter-trainer craft capable of 898 km/h at sea level, with nine aircraft and a solo (the highest number of aircraft of any aerobatic team in the world)[1].
The teams official name is:

Ciao Silvio,
Fantastic shot again of the airplanes flying in this formation. It would be good for Lucio's flag theme, too. :) Well captured moment with excellent sharpness and clarity. However, I don't agree with the black frame, I think the frame with your national colour would have fit better to this one. But a great job anyway! TFS.

a wonderful picture of the amazing formation and their making rainbow,
this shot reminds me of the 5 color rings in the sky those were made Japanese planes at 1964 olympic game in Tokyo...

Fantastic timing Silvio, such talented pilots they must be to fly that close to each other. The different coloured smoke is a very nice effect, such a perfect blue background for it to stand out against. Nicely taken and presented.
