Hi Silvio

Looks very similar to what we used to call Christmas beetles, which would appear around Bribane, Australia at, oddly enough, Christmas time (our summer)! Superb sharpness, colour & shallow dof. Tfs!

Hi Silvio,

Excellent macro of the beetle. It looks similar to our Japanese beetle, which can be a real nuisance at times. Perfectly sharp with nice background bokeh.
