I shot these 3 edelweisses during a trek on one of the French/Italian frontery pikes. I was the last of our trekkers group and the others were waiting for me, so i had to shoot it quickly... I tried several times but i didn't take time to adjust the focus properly. It's a shame because these flowers are very rare and only visible in certain high places of the mountains. It's again rarer to see them by 3.
They look like phantoms on this photo, as if it was impossible to focus properly on it, like a spirit in a mirror !
This is their defense against civilisation's eyes, as it's already strictly forbidden to cut it. |
