[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
the evidence that sometimes I do classic tourist-photos, even if I try to be original each time I could (see my previous shots of Venice)

sun on one side, great black cloud on the other side... I will show you later a photo showing the cloud invasion coming on Venice... for now I upload one of the most cliché photo one can do in Venice with San Marco... it's like a photo of Eiffel tower or Mont-Saint-Michel in France... I did not planed to take the Rialto, too cliché... but with the light condition and the contrast with the sky, i was in the obligation to try at least one shot... and this is this one... from the MOST cliché viewpoint, the one every single tourist can choose, because it's not easy to take the bridge and avoid the disturbing elements, or you have to take a boat... it's THE POV

Hi Jean,
Interesting POV of this world-famous sight of Venice. The dark blue sky looks dramatic in a way, and - in contrast - the bridge is full of tourists, the photo is full of life. Perfect sharpness and colours, very well set white balance and metring on the bridge.

"cliche" or not... this is beautiful!! I some how missed this shot when I was in Venice, so thanks for sharing it! :D

The tourist on the bridge really add to the photo. Really puts the size in perspective.

Bonjour Jean-Christophe,

Un cliché, c'est sûr, mais perso je ne m'en lasse pas ... c'est toute une histoire pour moi Venise et chaque photo me transporte. Le point de vue est original je trouve.
Ca manque un petit peu de contrastes et de saturation mais elle n'en demeure pas moins un beau tableau.
