davvero compliemnti per questa splendida cattura!
Il simpatico farfallone, con quella sua livrea colorata sembra lui stesso un fiore che, per miraocolo, ha il potere di volare. A proposito di fiori, poi, queste piccole campanule lilla sono proprio invitanti: sfido io che il Polidarius ci si sia tuffato subito sopra!

Iphiclides Podalirius IV sounds as the name of a king of I don't know what dynasty; and effectively you show it as a king:pov, colours, sharpness, light and contrast are the best

this is a wonderful photo of a very beautiful butterfly. I see it likes the flower that is called verbena here.I rried to take a photo of a butterfly on a verbena in my own garden just yesterday and had little success so I can appreciate this one. I love the greener and the composition.

Hello Vanda,

Your photograph has a wonderful clarity! There is so much to see and yet the butterfly totally dominates the shot, and has to appreciated before there is time to look at other things.
The buddleia stem makes a fine diagonal across the frame, almost paralled by the angle of the butterfly.
Lovely dof to this well filled shot.

What a lovely macro capture of this beautiful butterfly!
I like the diagonal positioned flower in the picture as it enhances the beauty of the shot immensely. The sharpness and POV are superb and the shallow DOF works very well here. The colors are natural and blurry BG is an advantage. Great contrasts exist within the picture.
