[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dogado Valley constitutes the most extended peach valley in lagoon of Venice ; from the faunistico point of view it turns out one of the zones richer of aquatic birds of the lagoon. During the cold season there is the presence of a lot of anatidi coming from northern Europe. The observation of this species is not easy ; the ducks prefer in fact to stay in the inner ponds of valley.
The more customary observations, during all the arc of the year, regard instead the Garzetta (Egretta garzetta) during all the seasons; the Airone cenerino (cinerea Ardea), the Airone white (Egretta dawn) and the Nitticora (Nycticorax nycticorax) especially in winter; the red Airone (purpurea Ardea) in spring and summer.

hi cinzia, nice shot and good composition! :-)
i really like the colorful foreground with the dark water,
the green vegetation and red flowers, but i just cannot make up
my mind, if the white sky and the ("white") water in the back fit or not, it is a little bit too bright compared to the rest.
anyway, well seen & captured, thor.

ciao cinzia...questa foto rappresenta una palude...molto affascinante direi...la particolarita` di questa foto e`la composizione dei colori delle foglie in contrasto con la statica dell`acqua...
