[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For Stasa and Lucio who were so kind TLfriends and had always the candid and sincere speaking with always respect to whom they gave critics.
The shot is taken from the boat which led my family and me (everyday during these holidays ) from Punta Sabbioni at the mouth of Adriatic to San Marco in Venice .So that twice a day it was a delight to have a mini cruise before and after discovering the magic city.
From here can be seen la Basilica San Marco e il Palazio Ducale (Palais des Doges).The column is one of the two between which convicted persons were put to death.

A lovely composition, Henri!
Full of culture and great architecture. I love the colors and the details in the shot. The well arranged boats look nice too.
Among other qualities, are great sharpness control and the well chosen POV.

Absolutely gorgeous shot of Venice. The details of the building are beautiful and show much of the charm of the wonderful city. Great architectural shot as well as tourist shot too. I can't wait to visit this wonderful city again one day.
