[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
P.A.N. is the acronym of Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale ( Italian National Acrobatic Team ).
Also known as "Frecce Tricolori", is one of the most popular and amazing jet team all over the world.
This shot was done in Jesolo, during 'Jesolo AIRSHOW': a beautiful air demostration event along the famous Italian beach near Venice.
During PAN show, you may admire the 9 jet formation alterned to soloist stunning maneuvers.

This picture shows the final Parade maneuver: jets fly at a low speed, with gear and flaps down, lights and coloured smokes on. They build an unforgettable raimbow over the sea. It's a wonderful final for this event !

Great action photo!! I remember them! They were in Greece last year in an amazing demonstration in the Archangel 2005. They were fantastic!!! :)
I like the POV and sharpness!

Very nicely capture, Silvio, and I like the colours of the contrails showing the Italian colours. Nice capture of these planes in action as it is not easy to capture well as they move very fast. Nicely composed as well. Well done!

P.S. In Canada, we have a similar acrobatic team called the Snowbirds and they are quite spectacular. I am not certain how they can do these very tight formation...well, accidents do happen from time to time so we know it is fairly tricky business...
