[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Howdy!

So.. I finally found my version of the "blue dome" of St. Pieter's.
Just want to show you this (and especially Hans - GreenBaron).
Outdoors it was quite sunny, so there is little or no contrast in the top, where the light comes through the windows, Hans' version (http://www.treklens.com/gallery/Europe/Italy/photo228890.htm)does have that perspective and he had the luck of seeing the rays of the sun come through :-)

I had to straighten the horizon on this one, cropped it and added some saturation and sharpness...

Hello Anneke,
This is a very beautiful architecture that you've capture with a very nice composition. I like how the light is illuminating God in the middle and how the dome is well center with great lighting and colors. very well done.

I like this picture of the blue dome, because mine failed when I was there. Much too dark.
This one is beautiful. You can see the pictures on the ceiling very clear. Well done !

ps it's not the same dome but the most beautiful picture I ever saw of a St. Pieter dome is this one

yes i remember this...did you get into the top of the dome and outside..??
its quite a building and photographing interiors isnt easy..
good lighting and steady hands produced this well balanced shot..
