Holy Communion, Inner Sanctum
This pic was taken in the inner most apse of the Saint Peter's Basilica showing the throne of Saint Peter in Glory. It's even after Bernini's baldacchino and Michaelangelo's towering dome. This mass is a celebration and confirmation of a young cardinal. There were guards blocking the baldacchino area so when I was allowed to enter, I couldn't go out until the mass was ended. It was a veeeeery loooong mass, I tell you! :)
Pp: Look at the WS, you will see it was a boring pic. I put some flashlight and a tinge of spotlight filters, a wee bit sharpened, lit, and resized |

Hi Fred,
Great to see some architectural stuff here. Is that made from gold? or just bronze? You did the right thing by cropping and putting in some flashlight to make it less boring and interesting. Nice to see an event here too.

Hong
interesting, maybe a bit 'oversharpened', thanx, M, (*_*)
