Great action shot, well caught. I'd select the skateboarder, invert and make the background B&W to let the main subject pop out. The DOF can be artificially changed by blurring the background. Would've been better to shoot at f2.8 but you are at the limits of your lens. I like the shot, your timing was perfect!
