Hi Lili,
A fine picture of this wellknown bridge. A tad too much brightness, resulting in some OE areas. Nevertheless I like this nocturnal presentation.

i have Firenze in my heart..
it was my city for the last 9 years.. i miss it!!..
about the buthcers, it's true, in XVI Century they caused so much pollution in river "Arno" that "Medici" (the famous reigning family of Florence) ordered their eviction from the bridge.. in favour of dealers of gold.. that actaully occupate the bridge.. infact if u have noticed.. their stores when are closed have the form of a butchers shop ;)..
over the bridge in the light part.. u have taken the "Corridoio Vasariano" a covered passage that links the exposition palace "Pitti" to the "uffizzi" and to the fort of "Signoria".. used by the Medici in case of danger to arrive fast to a safe place..
the bridge is the only one saved to the sistematic destruction of Nazists during the second war.. when theyy left fast florence for the Allians advance.. they at least have respect for this kind of masterpice that symbolyze Firenze!!
finish!!! sorry for my enthusiasm.. i'm proud of it..
the shot is beautifull.. a great interpretation with so much light and perfect POV..

Pity what happened to this picture, think you did some wrong pp work on it.
Hopefully you still got the original, its worth to repost this beautiful scene. Maybe, reduce the sharpness and the colouring ?

This is a beautiful night scenery of a lovely and much interesting place. Night shots are not easy to do and this is beautiful. I just wonder about the texture of some parts of the picture, especially the water. Did you use neat image or another noise reduction device?
