[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

This massive bust (20-30 ft.) is in the gardens of the Pitti Palace in Florence, Italy. It's designed to look ancient, but in fact is new. The concensus is that it is Igor Mitoraj's sculpture, "Tindaro screpolato." I received this information from two other TL participants. :O) Ringrazie!

It's a scan and I simple cropped and adjusted the saturation.

Nice picture and interesting sculpture. The artist is probable Igor Mitoraj. The is a special theme dedicated to him.

Excellent shot, Richard, with good composition to see the missing part of his head accented by the background greenery. Good clarity, also, especially for a scan. My only objection is that this looks like how I feel when I have a migraine! :(

I like your PoV, and details. It's a pity you were stuck with a washed-out sky that day. The light is best this way, but the sky is deadly -- it's a fine balance in this world sometimes.
