[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from the village of Anacapri at the top of the Island of Capri. Capri is an island off the Sorrentine Peninsula, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples. Capri is part of the province of Naples. It has been a popular resort since the time of the Roman Republic.

What you see here is the ruins of a villa converted into a coffee house. Below it is the west end of the Isle of Capri with the islands of Ischia and Prohibida beyond.

The village of Ana Capri is located at the high hills to the west of the island. From Ana Capri you can take a chair lift to the top of the island which is this point shown on the photo. From this point the views are marvelous all the way around.

I used my wife's Canon A640 point and shoot camera for this shot.

wonderful landscape with straordinary composition and pov, very good colours, well done, L.

Fine landscape Andre, well composed. Sky is a little hazy but I guess it just was like that that day.
