I like the strong contrasts in this. It is certainly an image that deserves a lot more attention!
The fact that it did not generate much interest on TL is due to the fact that, in a gallery of fine images, yours simply got lost. The best way to generate attention is to pay more attention to the works of others. Write at least 10 critiques every time you post an image and you will find that the photographers whose work you take the time to critique will be happy to come back and take a look at what you have to offer as well.

I think, and without seagulls this image has some especially expression, it,s really beautiful natural fractal :)

About "to pay more attention" you had good answer, i would say only this: this attention that our "grandma of lens" wish is nothing as randomly written of coments with hope that just as such became back. Thats nothing as "points-hunting", and our granma of lens know that at best :)

all the best and keep it up, photography should be way to relax and way to detection world on another, originell and only for your soul specific way, not for points on TL.

Nice regards,
Tanja

to me the seagulls are a distraction. the black and white of the water is more than sufficient. everyone sees different things so please accept my comments in the manner that they were meant.
it is still a pleasing image.
take care, Trampas.

Hi Michael,
I like the shot but it can be more effective if you crop only water,
well done,
