4000g is rather big new-born infant. the mother may experienced a difficult delivery...or a Cesarean section.
anyway, her sound sleep in a bed of the hospital like in a space ship's room...in my feeling and thinking, her best position is by her mother. late system of the obstetrical department is wrong.
