[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As an integral part of the view onto the Bacino di San Marco (San Marco's Basin), San Giorgio Maggiore is one of the islands of Venice. I took this shot being inside the Doge's palace, where photographing is forbidden...No one mentioned the outside view, so I took a chance! I didn't get caught :), and I also managed to take another shot of the basin, still from inside the palace, which I posted as a ws Click Here. Take a look at them both,(if you care to do so), it's not something that you'll commonly see about Venice.

Definitely worth the risk of getting caught as this is awesome scenery. Wonder what the penalty would have been?
Great shot.
Perhaps I am the only one seeing this but I find the tower leaning just a wee bit, but than can be fixed. If no one else complains than just ignore me.

Diana, ce compozitie frumoasa cu San Giorgio! Superbe culori si claritate a detaliilor. De semenea atmosfera este foarte placuta. La imaginile din Venetia sunt sensibila mereu si intotdeauna sunt nemultumita cu ce captez in fotografii, parca nu pot sa prind farmecul acestui oras. Chiar cu insula pe care ai fotografiat-o mereu am incercat si din diverse motive de lumina sau aglomeratie in jur, nu am reusit sa o prind in toata splendoarea, sper ca anul asta cand mai trecem pe acolo sa fiu mai norocoasa.
