Hi Marco,
a smiling face is always mysterious.
good or bad, the smiling hides strange feeling behind it .
in my feeling, fore man's smiling is different from back woman...there may be something like a gap.
you felt "together" and "good moments" in them, it is no problem, but from another POV, I feel both her innocence and his something cynical in each smiling.
anyway this capturing is very realistic more over than its outward...

A cool double portrait, Marco, even if you've sort of amputated your friend's left ear. I'd have cropped this a bit more from the right, just on his whiskers I guess.
Nice sharpness and a cool, shallow DoF. My attention is on her eyes, and her attention is on her partner ;o)).
B&W enhances that feeling. But thanks for providing another shot in the ws.
