I liked the entrance to Vatican Museums (Musei Vaticani in Italian) very much - it was so unusual... Where do you think those trees grow: on the roof or on the ground?..

Good capture, Irina. I didn't notice those trees when we visited the Vatican!

They grow on the ground of course. Those trees are a tipical kind of pine trees, very common in Rome. A past century italian composer, Ottorino Respighi, dedicated to them a great and famous symphonic poem: "Pini di Roma". If you like the classical music do not miss to listen to it.
Anyway I'm allways interested to know how foreing people look at italian things.

Nice work, Irina
regards Paolo
