MONTERROSO SIDE STREET
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is one of those very narrow streets in Monterroso Al Mare, Cinque Terre. The striped black and white painted wall on the left hand side is San Giovanni Bautista Church. Just by looking at what are hanging out of the windows and looking inside the ground floor, you may find out how the family in the house earn their living. Most usually have a coffee shop right in their living and dining areas. If you walked these narrow streets you will smell the aroma of coffee all the time.
The Cinque Terre are five coastal villages in the province of La Spezia in the Liguria region of Italy. They have come to be among the most popular areas of Italy among tourists. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all encapsulated in a national park by the same name. The Cinque Terre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The five villages are, from east to west: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterrosa Al Mare.
