Oh Marco,

How precious is this - I see she likes daddy kissing her.
I so recognise this look, Myriam was here this morning (and kissed by everyone of course).
I think it is very difficult to get the perfect focus if the face is at an angle - so I now try to get everything I want to have sharp in one line (you see her left eye and the fabric of her sleeve are pinsharp.
A have a whole bunch of picture in which only half the face is unsharp - maybe someone else will give you another solution, because my technical skills are just not good enough at this moment.
She gets a kiss from me as well!

in my feeling, this baby's eyes tell "what is all???",,,like the baby in "2001: A Space Odyssey".
a baby is the border between nothing and all, and in the unfixed all yet. this condition is quite unknown for us and beyond our imaginations. we cannot interpret it by our own way...
so I'll see this shot as "which is strange its eyes or the world".

Un bien tendre portrait ... des yeux purs, un regard innocent qui observe le monde qui l'entoure ... la candeur, la douceur, la tendresse d'un enfant ... le réconfort de l'épaule d'un parent, l'assurance d'être protégé ... une photo très émouvante !
Un peu floue, c'est vrai ... mais un enfant d'où qu'il vienne, même flou, est le bijou le plus précieux que la vie nous offre ...

Natural portrait of baby captured and presented. Sharp focus on one eye. I was trying to take same photo of my kids ... is no possible because they are impossible to stop ;) Only when they are sleeping but then no eyes open .... :)
Good choice to show this in black and white.

Very good pp work here. Excellent tonal range and focus on half-the image. I don't have negative comments, I'm too busy watching dear Elisa!
