I was there for 2 nights in 1999 Jens - I got there by car, not a cruise liner.
What an interesting place it is - I never expected Venice to be like it was. And I'd like to go back.
This is a view I never saw from this height. But I remember being on the square there, with all the gondolas lined up.

Wonderfull view Jens
On top; again we can see water, to underline that Venice is a peninsula / semi attached Island
Great zoom in here Jens .. very sharp and from where we where standing wer had a fantastic view

It realy is as if I am looking to one of my own shots .. and I am sure so will you looking at mine :-)

The other day you replied to one of the members the Cruise was great , but a little to much 'big Cities' and infact you are right..The only diffrence .. we saw them for the first time and would not have missed that .. but .. the Greek Island hopping last year was much nicer..
