[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the beach of Porto Giunco in Villasimius, in the east corner of the Bay of Cagliari. It's called "porto" (port) because up to 40-50 years ago small ships used to moor just under the tower you see to load th granite blocks from a nearby quarry.

Immagine molto "marina" anche se il mare si vede poco...
il campo lungo della distesa di sabbia, la linea della staccionata che sembra perdersi in un lontano punto di fuga e poi vira improvvisamente, i pochi ciuffi di macchia e l'antica torre di vedetta... tutto contribuisce all'equilibrio pacato di questo bel paesaggio.
