Mon dernier jour de classe ici, plus qu'une semaine ... et mes vacances débuteront ... :)
J'aime ce parallèle avec la F1, bien vu et bien pensé ! Et je souris en m'imaginant beaucoup de monde, sur la ligne de départ, prêt à tout pour pouvoir profiter de ces transats ... alors que certains petits endroits déserts et secrets nous permettent tant de bons moments ....

Hi Marco,

I like the blue of the beach chairs. It always reminds me of the beautiful ocean. The chairs and tables seem to be waiting for the onslaught of tourist that will visit the area. Now it's just peaceful. The blurry background gives the illusion that the chairs continue on and on down the beach with no end. Your frame compliments the photo nicely.

I don't know about this one, it has me a bit perplexed.
Only one table and one chair is sharp the rest is blurred foreground included.
Not quite sure what look you were aiming for, but if this is what you wanted then you did fine.
I would however get rid of the bit of chairs in the right corner. Sorry to be so picky

Hi Marco,
The picture show the calm before the tourist storm. The Blue benches perfectly lined up look great with the DOF you chose. Nice contrast of color between the blue benches and the sand. Reminds me I need a vacation.

human blue like this derived from the sky or the sea, in their imaginations. so the feeling of blue may relate with the mood of the sky or the sea, in their sensations.
people like the sea and the sky, and play in summer of them, but the sea and the sky may dislike the wave of lots of people.
in this your shot, I hear a requiem for the summer seashore, these repetition of blue looks the rhythm of dignified and sorrowful song for them...

Nicely shallow, and that with the 18-200VR!!
I normally get these results with my 50mm 1.4D or 85mm 1.8D. I am surprised by the result, since I'm also using the 18-200. Then again, I never try to get it that shallow. Nice!!

You are so right Marco,

The way you present the beach chairs, it is as if they are in starting position - ready to go when the sun and visitors come.
Very strong composition and really the best colours to present beach life.

This time I think the Coldplay song was way too moody for this shot, that has a hidden energie, ready to burst.....
To illustrate the song you should use the elegant graveyard or just one cross 1/3 of the picture, evening or morning sky 2/3-----see, now even the song is an inspiration ^-^.
