[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
From a distance, the medieval town of Spello seems to melt down the hill which it graces. Tiny stone houses that dot the Umbrian countryside form this mesmerising and charming town.

Only occasionally do tourists stop in Spello; it’s not part of the "usual" foreigner’s travel itinerary. It’s one of those places that if you happen to drive past, you feel compelled to detour and discover.

Spello is not only blessed with a superb geographical position, but is also the home of the greatest number of monuments dating back to the Roman period in Umbria, these including the city walls, Porta Consolare, Porta Urbica, Porta Venere, the theatre, amphitheatre, and spas

Hi Tsilla,
Nice detail in the stone structures. I like the way the arch is a window to the village just beyond it. Nice colors and good POV.
Regards,
Kevin

Hi Tsilla,
Lovely framing and very good use of the road as your lead-in line to lead ones focus towards the horizon. The stonework gave a nice texture to the image. Well composed! tfs

Hi Tsilla,
Spello looks to be a charming place. Really like how this is composed to have the narrow oathway and hills beyond.

Subashini

Hello Tsilla!
Wonderful, wonderful posting showing the medieval street seen through the arch of stone! Medieval towns with narrow streets...you hit me in a soft spot here :)
Best regards,
Diana
