[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The beautiful little city of Lucca has many secret gardens, tucked away from the eyes of the casual visitor, behind gated courtyards or on roof tops. But this one cannot escape those that take the trouble to climb the famous Guinigi Tower (see workshop). The tower itself is another not-so secret garden, planted with trees that sprout from its top.

Oh, how quaint - what a cosy corner, and quite private too from most of the crowds. The tower looks a good place to climb too - especially with your camera.
Good shot Bev

A truly charing view, Bev -- nicely captured, with fine colours

Hello Bev,

A truly undervalued shot!
The composition, with the two red diagonals from the roofs, connected by garden bridge, is just wonderful!
Well captured colour tones and textures.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Bev,

How neat and tidy this little rooftop terrace is. I can just imagine the smartly turned out Italian family that would take an evening aperitif up here.

I remember the tower with the trees on well, but didn't climb it when we were there.

I've just spotted what looks like a barbecue on the further chimney!

Lovely composition and colours.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Bev

I love spotting details like these from towers or castles as you look down of the roofs. This is beautifully composed, pin sharp and with lovely colours. It makes a great subject and evokes holiday memories

Hi Bev
Very typical photo with the tile rood tops and this tiny garden. Nice natural colors of sunny countries and an artistic crop.
Marvelous
