There is almost something disturbing about this one Anna. Your expression is difficult to interpret. Not sure whether it is of pain, sorrow but it is powerful. Well constructed.

This is original and quite cool! Nice job here, I really like your expression, self portrait are always hard and you did extremely well. Nice colors, I like the "green" feeling of this shot.

this is really coooool!! your mind is full of ideas.. i always appreciate it!! i was striked by this sight.. and i have tried to make a workshop.. even if actually i'm not satisfated by it (soon i'll post)! the animatrix link is perfect (i always love everything about matrix).. even if i'm not sure about your wish of suicide! it doesent look a great idea.. for now!! how could i do without you?!? ;))

This is good. There is so much contained in your expression. The lighting is good - from an excellent angle, even with the burnout on the side of your face. The greenish tint of the water and your hair floating around your face add powerful elements to this shot.
This is compelling and communicates so much - you did a brilliant job here.

To zdjecie ma niesamowity ladunek emocjonalny, podoba mi sie, ze tyle serca wkladasz w swoje prace, Twoje oczy tutaj 'krzycza'.
Technicznie - super ziarenko i kolory, choc osobiscie wolalabym mniej przepalen po prawej. Ale super.

Hi Ania,

This is one amazing shot! The first thing that came to mind was the work of the old Alfred Hitchcock filmmaker. His lighting and work played with the mind somehow. One uses their imagination to "fill in the blanks" of the situation. It is as if the viewer has to use their own thoughts to try and figure out what is in your mind. Very moody with interesting color. The strong light on your face adds a lot to the shot. It's not a serene, peaceful setting at all. I'm so glad you ended your note with "kisses and love from Italy". With kisses and love there is hope! Lisa

It's like a scene from a movie. I would like it better if I couldn't see clearly that the left hand (as I see the picture) is coming up to hold the camera.
