Oh Dawn, I remember here. Definitely a magical place to visit and SO different.

This is a wonderful capture of Venice, at once hectic and also beautiful.
The golden sunlight on the buildings adds a warm air that contrasts with the cool and turbulent looking canal.

Venice is indeed magical Kiwi woman. It's like Disneyland on water. Your photo reminds me of my visit there three years ago.It would be nice to see more lighting on the your subject(the boat and buildings) but you probably did the best you could under your vacation timing. Thanks for sharing.

That seems indeed a lot to do in just 20 days, you must have been totally dazed after that trip, ah well, at home you can relive the trip by seeing beautiful moments like this in your pictures. The light really makes it a magical place.
