(frase trovata in internet)
The horse is the oldest existing mammal, man's most recent
Its domestication has changed profoundly that every culture has practiced.
In the horse rump national boundaries were changed, the goods made the tour of world, religions migrated, won wars, stole other horses, the souls of the dead went to sky.
"The greatest misfortune that can affect a man is the loss of his young father or lost his horse during a journey" |

Hi Enrico,
Sharp and detailed close-up of this horse with great contrast to the blurred background. Interesting POV, creative photo! TFS.
Best wishes,
Kristof

This is a great shot. The detail is fabulous. To get a profile as accurately as this is not as easy as some may imagine...
I have read a book called 'Guns germs and steel' which explains the importance of domesticated animals in the rise of humanity...this picture reminded me of the importance of domestication.
The book,by the way, is written by Jared Diamond. It is brilliant!

Ciao Enrico, bel primo piano equino, molto intenso.
Roberto
