So here we are this couple seem to say as they enter through the great arches into Lucca's Roman Amphitheatre. No lions here though, but a place to relax and enjoy the warm evening sun with a glass of wine. See something of what they see here
I have been revisiting my holiday photos for inspiration as the grey, wet weather continues unabated here in Scotland. |

Hello,Bev.
Don't I know it? As you say, the weather here has not been conducive to picture-taking and, like you, I've been searching though the archives from over a year ago trying to find something to post on these sites.
Still, this one was very worth pulling out - your pictures of people are much better than mine and you have a knack of capturing their emotions as well as their images.
Great!
Best Wishes,
John.

This is so funny! -- I can see they were posing for a typical "we were here" tourist shot ! LOL
Great details on the people

Hello Bev,
Another of your spontaneous street shots, and a fine one. The couple standing open-mouthed really are saying Wow! The man on the bicycle actually adds to the effect, as he gets on with his everyday existence - he's seen it all before......
The odd bits of street furniture - the fire hydrant, the sign on the wall and the untidy bits of wiring all play their part in the composition.
Well done!
Kind regards,
Peter.
Hello Bev,
Nice posing and well suited title.

Good morning and hello Bev,
The expressions on the faces of these smartly dressed couple is pricesless. It's a wonderful feeling when one sees a delightful scene. The framing is lovely as you managed to incorporate daily life activities and architectural details are evident. My compliments...Danilo
