Weathered tiles on a roof of Assisi.
They have no eyes, but they see and have seen history passing by.
They have no legs, but they go through and went through history.
They have no voice, but they tell many stories.
They have no spirit, but they emanate peace and stability.
They are the silent and inanimate testimony throughout the times.

Walking through Assisi, the town of Francis of Assisi, you feel permeated by peace, every little corner of the town is a feast for your eyes, the same old stone with a warm colour everywhere, narrow lanes overflowing with flowers and history and again peace... and peace.

Well said. Very good composition and colors. Very interesting framing, I like the effect it give the photo. Assisi must have the same effect on everyone. It is my favorite city in Italy and I look forward to spending more time there next year.
