Hello Giorgio,
Normally when one thinks of the colors blue and gold, we think of royalty. Yet here, in your image we see the passage of time lain deeply upon these scarred doors. It is the same with most royal families and governments, once they stood proud and shone before their peoples, and then, without warning, a small tear begins to wear upon their facade that destines to challenge their hinge unto their people's truss. And all, for the ages that shall then pass through, shall lay witness to alike this door's soon failing trust.

Always a pleasure to see that someone's abandon rusty door is others wonderful photo motive.
I guess everything has its purpose and you gave one to this old door that is cared for as much as it is needed but not with love.
Sad but at the same time most lovely image.

Ciao Giorgio, in realtà sentivo la tua mancanza... credevo fossi in vacanza! La foto è molto bella come dice Roberto e concordo anche col fatto che i colori forse sono troppo pieni. Ma resta una bella foto, originale. Ti ringrazio per le tue critiche sempre stimolanti ma non vorrei montarmi la testa....
