| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| this is my tribute to an italian artist, called alberto moruccia. I discovered his work in viterbo and orvieto near the bolsano lake. He works wonders with wood... i visited a gallery where some of his work was on display and have seen his work all over the two cities, in shops, restaurants,etc... I gues he is a local celebrity and it is well deserved. I have a series of 4 posts for you if you react psotiviely to this one. up to you to see more...;-) |

Like going back to the school bench again Eric ;) he he. It is a beautifull wooden carving. It would be intresting to see the others as well. I like the tonality very much here, your DoF and the whole composition.
I didn't know Pinocchio had brothers and sisters....and quadruplets too, the all have the same face. Interesting and different subject.
Very interesting. The photo creates the perspective that they are alives. And your note is a good lesson about regional art. I´m waiting the others. Fernanda
Yes, I think this shot deserves compliments not only to the artist, but also to the photographer. The controlled DoF in this image is perfect, the clarity and the detail of these carvings are really magnificent, and as Zandra has said the tonality is wonderful.
Overall there is nothing I could nit-pick about it is a perfect composition with excellent perspective.
::Well done, good work.

Nice...very nice. I prefer the one that your posted today. This one is also good but more "safe'. The other one is more experimental. But they're both good.
