Hi David,
Wonderful capture of Venice in the "blue hour". the brightness and colours are perfect. The leaning buildings are a bit distractive in my opnion, a perspective crop might improve it, I made a WS to show what I mean. Anyway still a fine attractive view of this beautiful city!

Something different in POV and a night scene of Venice with a color tone that is pleasant to see for this calm still reflection of the canal and the blue hour sky. Good distortion correction for the UWA capture.

Yes, My type of shot.!
Stunning evening light, perfect symetric great composition.
The leaning perspective is not distracting at all.
The 'steetlights' are really sprankling there light over the view.
Colours are much more lovelier than they are in reallity.
Complements, David.
Worth to print it as poster.

stunning night view from this incredibly beautiful city; excellent use of the wide angle to deliver a great result where the deep blue sky is so well contrasted by the buildings and the lights reflected on the canal. The crystal clear quality is an extra bonus to make this shot special. Great job indeed.

The rather hazy mood in this evening scene is great,I like the left top balcony and window,with the lights on,its giving so much mood.
I cliche tourist town,....no way,a city like a sweet dream I call it !

try to explain..hope
venice by night is a classic and always give soult to the photos
there is something distracting here for me
the wide angle here works too much and that detail on the right on the bridge (the elevator for handicaps) is distracting the view of the atmosphere.
this is my opinion
