One day in Venetia....

It was a very hot day with 40 degrees. And that day we went for Venetia! A special city with special prices! Everything costs a lot money! The boat, the toilet, a map, even the chair and dinnertable outside..

Its great to see how Venetia is build. If you've never been there, look on the internet for information before you go. Otherwise you miss something that you really wanted to see.

It's full of tourists! Everywere you go!! Everywere you sit!! Everywere you see!!
But we had a great day as a tourist there! The colours in venetia are a little pale, maybe because of the warm weather.

This was the view of the Grand Canal from the Rialto bridge(Ponte di Rialto). An impressive brigde made of stone and the oldest brigd over the Grand Canal. One of the major tourist sights in Venice.

About the photo:
I gave it some colour and contrast. Frame it and here it is.

Hi Janneke,
Great travel photo with a very nice frame. I like the soft colours. Gives it a timeless quality. I was here exactly one year ago. Just as you say, very hot, very crowded, and very very expensive. Still well worth the trip.

well this photo takes me to my 1st visit to Venice. Its a wonderful city and yes I agree with your notes about the city. a good pov here but the colors are soft and yes thanks for sharing.

This brings back so many memories, nice shot taken from the Rialto Bridge.
Very busy scene of the Grand Canal.
This shot could have been taken any time in the year as it is always so busy.
Not keen on the frame though, but that's just my taste.
The first pink building on the left is the hotel which I stayed in when in Venice, had a view like this everyday.
