[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from Piombino, which is directly opposite the Island of Elba.

That evening the view was not the best, the sky was slightly hazy, but I never tire of looking at the island of Elba. It's different all the time, and therefore never boring for me.

This is photo is SIMILAR to the one I posted on TE, "Isola d'Elba", it is not quite the same frame, and obviously then I converted it to B/W.
Not quite sure what is better...

peaceful picture, I can feel the light wind coming from the sea!the contrst is fine, i'll try for myself a stronger contrast , just to see!

wow. that's awesome. really amazing sky and nice low horizon. I like the tiny boat which really gives a sense of scale. Excellent job! JP

Beautiful BW with excellent depth frank , especcialy the clouds ..very good compo with the big sky

Hi Frank,
This really a beautiful picture (for some reason underestimated, I think), lots of space and some great gradiants in the grey tones! The sky looks very well and I don't miss colours in a landscape here... The final touch: The teeny-weeny boat!
