It is a beautiful place, beautul nature and weather, and I think, it is very natural to see a wide smile of the person, who is there right now! :)
...Especially if you just turned 16...

HI Irina,
I belive that it was a very special moment both for you and for this lovely girl. Paleromo s'pose to be a wonderful place to visit and you sure had I good time.
YOur photo: it's a nice memory for you and you chose a nice place to shoot. But somehow, there's some thing that didn't go so right here... sorry.
Fisrt, POV is great but you should had included the whole girl in frame. This way instead of being part of the scene she becomes a distraction. She's too much in the corner and you cut 2/3 of her out of the comp. So it'll be better to cut her off completelly, even if her smile is the greatest...
Then when you scan to digital, usualy you can lose a bit of definiton and sharpness. You can fix that, first, scanning in hight definition (600dpi or higher and reduce the size in PP program, in different steps, then using USM (unsharpen mask) fusntion in the program. Then your picture you retain as much as possible from the original characteristics.

But this was a very good attempt anyway.

Just don't give up and keep trying

Take care, Stef :))

Wow, she doesn't even look hot, LOL! Amazing since it was over 100 degrees that day. Too bad you weren't digital on that trip, it would have been especially good. Have a great week,

Alli
