Visiting Siena to see the "Palio".
A famous traditional horserace on the citysquare.

We walked into a semi-public building and got invited to visit the roof for a panoramic view of the city.
This was their staircase.

The glossy wooden banister has a metallic-like glow due to the bright sunlight which entered the building through the roofwindow and the use of my cameraflasher.

Not recognizeble as a staircase, but an artistic picture!
