Hello Pierre, well this is the Piaggio Sì, my first motorbike, really a classical toghether with the piaggio Ciao, and af course the more well known vespa 50, this motorbike was very popular before the scooter jap age came around, so we are talking before the '90, some where around the '80.
nice colorful one, still running, and great background

Si tu n'avais pas précisé qu'il s'agissait d'une image faite à Rome, j'aurais juré sans démordre que nous étions ici à Paris ! Ceci dit, l'image me plait beaucoup,je trouve que cette mobylette déglinguée + le tag sur le mur crée une vraie atmosphère urbaine très loin des clichés habituels. J’adore aussi le fait que la mobylette soit coupée, ce n’était pas la peine, je crois, d’en faire plus (c’est ici mon gout personnel !).

Indeed this bike deserves retirement. I think those ones are very common in Italy. One can see them everywhere.

Partout sur notre petite planète, les tageurs usent et abusent de leurs bombes. Parfois, ça arrange le photographe. Voici une exploitation artistique de ce fléau. Opposition d'un graphiti réalisé à la sauvette et ce vieux vélomoteur qui attends un hypothétique départ. Bonne vieille mécanique, à couleurs multiples et sauvée de la mitraille par quelques fils de fer !
Félicitations pour ce cliché très séduisant.

Nice soft and sometimes wet buddysit.
The wallstructure give a good line onto the scooter. Again these 'rich' materials from Rome in stone and wallarchitecture.

Je pense tout de suite à Vacances Romaines avec Gregory Peck et Audrey Hepburn, il me semble !!! Je vous vois bien Suzanne et toi sur cette Vespa roulant à travers Roma ... ou encore à "Caro diario" de Nanni Moretti.
Je ne suis pas sûre que le fait d'avoir coupé la Vespa soit idéal mais ce n'est qu'une opinion personnelle.

Effectivement, cette mobylette commence à être plutôt fatiguée... elle me fait penser à l'état de ma voiture du coup... c'est malin.

Mais pourquoi donc l'as-tu achevée par décapitation ? Si c'était une question de format, tu aurais pu tenter un carré en conservant la relique dans son intégralité. Mais peut-être y avait-il d'autres éléments qui venaient perturber ta composition... parce que c'est vrai qu'ici, ce deux-roues en piteux état mais coloré, tout seul, est plutôt bien mis en valeur contre la pierre claire du mur.

Bon, tout ça pour dire que ta photo, elle est plutôt sympa... ;o)

Salut,Pierre! Je partage l'opinion de Sylvie et Martine! Je n'aime pas la Vespa decapitee meme si elle se veut vieille et fatiguee! Par contre j'aime bien le jeu des graffitis sur le mur ainsi que la composition! Belle nettete d'image! Mais je persiste et signe aussi de mon cote que j'aurais aime voir la mobilette dans son entier! Michel
