The lady in the photo is very dark. Did you pp her to become a silouhette?

Superbe contre-jour sur cette promeneuse, dans un environnement parfaitement adapté à cette prise de vue. Les petites touches de couleurs vertes et beige, présentes ici et là, apportant de la douceur et de la vie à ton image qui, sans elles, aurait été quasi monochrome. Bravo, j'aime beaucoup.

Very common mediterranian shot but with nice composition. Some might consider this crop too tight, but that's the feeling you have while passing through these narrow streets!

I like these kind of photos, in the narrow streets with a person taking a stroll, it definetely looks alot like Greece to me! A few years ago it would have been my grandmother walking the villages just like this! Makes me smile =)thanks

Looking at the thumbnail, I immediately thought of Greece, Pierre... but one thing gives it away; I miss some luminousity here. The beige and white hues are very muted IMO. Of course most of these villages have very narrow streets like we see here, for keeping the sun out of the houses... but I'd expect to see some extra brightness on top, so I presume it was a cloudy day ?
I love the silhouette of that elderly lady... it breathes the Mediterranean mood: take it easy ;o)).

Not sure why I like this SO much, but I do! I think I'm liking the lack of "real" color, and the overall crispness of the shot. And of course, the ordinary woman with her cane gives us the human interest.

I would have liked to add 12% gaussian noise to this and put it in my Figures in Urban Landscapes series. It has that feel I like about people moving around urban landscapes. Good catch of a typical Italian scene.
