Ah Venice, what a super place to go. I just wish I had a digital camera back when I visited there - 1999. I stayed 2 nights and found it so interesting. So many bridges and walkways. And so old and different.

Good shot showing such chaotic architecture and so many different shapes and patterns Jean. That looks like newer buildings built on top too. Quite a clutter isn't it? Thank you for sharing...

Oh waw, what a dreamy atmosphere, colors are wonderful.

In this picture I find the Venice mood, not the turistic side but the popular one..... colours and architecture are very well catched...

The dreamy effect (created by the low contrast and the soft details) tells about memories about this place of years ago.
I'd suggest taking the photo from a lower POV.

Une belle photo de Venise, Jean, qui nous donne vraiment l'impression d'y être. Les couleurs, l'architecture, les gens qui marchent dans la rue, tout y est. Le ciel est un beu blanc mais c'est très mineur. Bravo!

A very nice mix of old colours like a painting. I like the worn off plaster showoing the brick wall underneath and the iron work of the lamp brackets and balconies. Very nice mood in this shot.

Il faut y retourner ! la 1ère fois j'y suis allé 1 jour (en 2003) depuis j'y retourne tous les ans....
